More info
Ladies Kaftan is a garment worn over the top dresses.
This is a nice, very feminine outfit.
It is long. There are two wedges on each side.
Dress sleeves have a length of 3/4 - a good solution when the dress you wear underneath is nicley finished sleeves. There are loose, free and does not restrict movement.
Kaftan is not decoratede, but there is nothing in the way to add interesing embroidery, wich will give him a trait associated with a particular culture, vecause the pattern is universal.
Reconstructionof the outfit is based on the XI century fresco in the Cathedral of St. Sophia in Kiev (the image of a woman dressed in a long tunic) and the findings from the museum in Stockholm on Scandinavian women clothing.
