Early Medieval Viking/ Rus tunic with hems and bronze buttons

Tunic has a slit on the chest fastened on the 5 bronze buttons. Neckline, sleeves, and bottom have hems made of wool in the different color.

Pattern - it's basic type of Scandinavian tunic, based on the finds from Swedish necropolis in Birka and the iconography of early Middle Ages.

Made of medium thickness wool.

Tunic has two gussets on the both sides, sewn from the waist. Its length is about 105 cm (on request it can be longer 105/115cm - if added in the notes).

Circumference at the bottom depends on the size 170 -180 cm.

The Slav Medieval Shop creates historical outfits in three basic standards of detail work:

I – Outfit is sewn with the machine – all stitches are made with the machine, a pattern of the outfit is based on the historical sources, according to its description on the site.
II – Invisible stitches are made with the machine, all visible stitches are sewn manually.
III – Whole outfit is sewn manually with very strong stitches by linen thread– strongly based on the archeological findings.
